At Scentscapology, we want everyone to have access high quality, long-lasting home fragrances and in doing so, inspire moods, increase productivity and create a sense of wellbeing, no matter where you are.

Gratitude (Blackcurrant & Agarwood)

Think star anise, coriander, tarragon and hints of saffron muddled with sandalwood, vetiver and cool amber. It’s a warm, sensual and musky scent that cosies around your room of choice and fills it with warmth and light. Blackcurrants are known to help prevent viral infections and boost your memory, whilst Agarwood purports to imbue a sense of calm. 

The perfect partnership for entering a bold new year and showing your appreciation to someone who deserves a dollop of gratitude right now.

Focus (Mint & Rhubarb)

A crisp, zingy stewed rhubarb with hints of pear and apple sweetened by caramelised sugar. These are freshened by lush garden mint leave and a hint of lemon.

Mint is great for memory and attention span whilst the Rhubarb oozes calm and comfort, much like a  home-baked crumble, warming in the oven, ready to be gobbled after a brisk country walk.

Revive (Bay & Rosemary)

A clean green floral fragrance where rosemary, bay and lemon rest upon a heart of muguet blossoms, clary sage and cyclamen resting upon a softwood and musk base.

The Rosemary helps to clear your mind and the Bay helps you relax, the perfect antidote for a little time out.

Recline (Bluebell & Lavender)

The Recline candle brings a bountiful hedgerow fragrance to your home, mingled with jasmine, muguet and gardenia.

Bloom (Basil & Neroli Blossom)

Calm (Seaweed & Juniper Berries)

Imagine the refreshing and mind-clearing smell of the sea, driftwood, salty seashells and ozone muddled with the clarity of bergamot, lemon and orange with a strong and beguiling juniper core.

Local Delivery - Ely & Cambridge Area

Selected items are available for Same Day Delivery if ordered before 11am.

Local Delivery to Ely & the surrounding area - postcodes CB6 & CB7, CB24 & CB25, PE15 & PE16 is £5.
Cambridge city centre delivery - postcodes CB1-5 is £10

Deliveries are made during our opening hours and although we try to deliver as soon as possible we cannot guarantee a specific time on your chosen day.

If the recipient is not home, we will endeavour to leave the flowers in a safe place or with a neighbour. We will also try to contact both the recipient and the sender.
If this is not possible they will be returned to the studio and redelivery will be attempted the next day.
Any additional delivery attempts may be chargeable.

Click & Collect

Click & Collect from our Wilburton studio is free. You will be notified when your item is ready for for collection.


Nationwide Delivery

Nationwide Delivery is £9.99

Large items, such as wreaths & wreath kits are charged at £9.99 per item.

Delivery terms are inline with the couriers own policies, tracking information will be supplied. Although we will endeavour to deliver on the requested date, this cannot be guaranteed once the items have been dispatched from Thatch & Roses. 

Care Guide


Substitutions
We source the freshest, highest quality flowers and foliage that each season has to offer. In the event that we are unable to source a particular ingredient due to seasonal availability, we will make appropriate substitutions of equal or higher value.

Flower Care

Bouquets & Flower Wraps:
Lift the bouquet out of the bag or box and carefully remove the paper wrap and  any hydration pack.
Do not remove the string as this holds the handcrafted design together.
Remove any leaves that would be below the waterline to keep the water clean and prolong the vase life.
Cut the flower stems on an angle and split woody stems with scissors. Trim to the right length for your vase.
Pour the flower food into your chosen vase and fill with freshly‐drawn, lukewarm water.
Place the flowers in the vase ensuring the water is high enough to reach any shorter stems.
Position the flowers away from direct sunlight, draughts, radiators or air conditioning.
If these steps are followed, a mixed bouquet should last 5‐7 days. The flowers may last varying lengths of time, simply remove any dying flowers as the bouquet ages.

Arrangements:
Position your arrangement on a protected surface.
Top up the container with freshly‐drawn, lukewarm water every second day.
Position the flowers away from direct sunlight, draughts, radiators or air conditioning.
If these steps are followed, a mixed arrangement should last 5‐7 days. The flowers may last varying lengths of time, simply remove any dying flowers as the arrangement ages.

Wreath & Garland Care
Our winter wreaths and garlands are handmade to order by our team of florists. They remain fresh for approximately one to two weeks and dry beautifully.
Any fresh flowers on wreaths should last 5-7 days.

Mist with water regularly (front and back) to keep both the foliage and the base moist.
Keep outside or in a cool place to maximise the lifespan.

Refund Policy

If there is a problem with your flower delivery, we require notification by email, within 24 hours of receipt to allow us to investigate. A photograph will be required so we can rectify your issue. please email the details of your order to orders@thatchandroses.com
Fresh flowers are only guaranteed for seven days, if included care instructions are followed.

Our policy lasts 30 days for non fresh items. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return of non fresh items, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. 

Workshops:
Workshop tickets are refundable until 7 days prior to the event, less an admin fee of £5 per ticket.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Ready To Wear Wedding Flowers

By placing your Ready To Wear Wedding Flowers order with us you thereby agree to the following terms and conditions:

A full refund will only be accepted up to 14 days prior to the date of delivery. Any cancellations made after 14 days will be charged in full.

Changes and additions to your order can be made up 3 days prior the date of delivery. Any additional items must be placed through the website.

Postponements will only be accepted up to 14 days prior to the date of delivery. Once postponed, cancellations will not be accepted and therefore no refunds will be issued, postponed weddings can only be postponed further.

Any issues must be communicated to us directly by whoever ordered the flowers. We are unable to accept complaints on behalf of the customer.

If there are any issues with your flowers upon arrival, we must be notified immediately in order for the situation to be dealt with accordingly. We are unfortunately unable to provide refunds for any issues that we are notified about after the wedding day. You can contact us on 01353 749000 or orders@thatchandroses.com

We recommend having your wedding flowers delivered on the morning of your wedding, we are unable to take responsibility of any flowers delivered more than 24 hours prior to the wedding or those that have been collected by your or a member of your party.


Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at orders@thatchandroses.com and send your item to: 33 High Street, Wilburton, Cambs, CB6 3RA

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

To return your product, you should mail your product to:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
